You might be wondering why we are boasting about the Coir Compost being peat-free, what's so wrong with peat? Peatlands are great at storing carbon, when you dig them up they start to release carbon dioxide adding to climate issues, fortunately planting is changing, and more growers are moving to peat-free soil.

To use, unwrap your Coco Coir Compost Block, pop it into a bucket, bowl, or bath (if you're struggling), and add water bit by bit. We recommend 500ml at a time, with the soil being moist but not soaking. It won't take long for the compost to start expanding, make sure to give it a mix-up before planting. The soil should be moist but not soaking. Peat-free compost is a little different from traditional compost, so you might take a little time getting used to knowing when to water your leafy friends.
