Lil' African Milk Tree

There is something about a miniature succulent that we just can't resist. Not only do baby succulents look great, but they are also low-maintenance indoor plants. The baby Euphorbia Trigona or African Milk Tree is an ideal choice due to its unique look.

Like most cacti and succulents, the baby African Milk Tree loves a warm, dry environment (15-27°C), making your living room or bedroom the ideal home. Keep it in bright, indirect sunlight and water only when the soil is dry. Your prickly plant will let you know when it needs more water by dropping some of its leaves.

To keep it looking its best, be sure to dust your Euphorbia Trigona baby plant regularly. It is possible to propagate your African Milk Tree by cutting or breaking off the stems and replanting them; just make sure you wash your hands after touching the sap as it is poisonous. This poisonous sap is also toxic to animals and children, so be sure to keep little ones (furry or human) away from it.
