The Lil' Lancifolia Prayer Plant is the perfect (witches) familiar. Nicknamed the Rattlesnake Calathea for its striking patterned foliage, this South American beauty looks great in any room. Have it alongside your Bednobs and Broomsticks in your bedroom, living room, or hallway, or even take it with you to the office to keep you company while you practice your Craft.
Like any creature of the night, the Lil' Rattlesnake Calathea prefers to be in the shadows, so place it in some shade. Caring for it doesn't involve witchcraft or Hocus Pocus, just water it little and often. If its leaves begin to curl, it just needs a little more water. Keep it away from hot cauldrons - it prefers temperatures of between 18-23°C (min 15°C ).
There's no need for "wingardium leviosa" with the Lil' Calathea Insignis, it will practically levitate on its own as it's a fast grower. But don't panic, it won't grow out of control as its maximum height is 60cm. There's no need to worry if you have little pricklettes as the Lil' Lancifolia is pet friendly. This Lil' Prick can commonly have the issue of spider mites, keep an eye out and remove them with warm water and alcohol rub.
